My Journey

The photos I have of my own babies are among my most treasured possessions and I am beyond thankful for them. They are displayed on my walls throughout my home and allow me to remember their first days, how small they were in my arms, and the joy I had within that radiated in those images.  I’ve always valued the art of photography and especially documenting and capturing the fleeting moments that I treasure.

About four years ago, I decided that I wanted to be a part of giving others the same and really learn how to find the details, sweet moments, personalities, and love between others.  I asked a few friends for the opportunity to photograph their newborns, being able to photograph a few babies was such a gift and solidified my dream.  From there, I began learning everything I could on posing, newborn safety (this includes staying up to date with the pertussis vaccine), props, gear, techniques, and business.  I’ve taken courses with Ana Brandt, Allison Winterroth, and Kelly Brown, as well as a workshop with Alli Peck.  I started building my portfolio, and photographing newborns whenever I had the chance.  From there my areas have grown to weddings, maternity, and children’s portraiture.

I opened my business in 2013, and I absolutely love it!   In the summer of 2015, we moved from Tyler, TX to Atlanta, GA.  In doing so, I was able to create a studio so that I could offer beautiful, stylized sessions as well as offer intimate, lifestyle sessions, or even a bit of both.   I would love for you to be a part of my photographing journey, allowing me to capture the things you treasure and hope to remember forever.

  1. Hello! I am very interested in getting some family fall picture’s taken next month. So you have a location that you love for the fall outdoors? I really want something different that you don’t see all the time. Also can you give me a quote as to how much it would cost. I really look forward to hearing from you!! Your work is truly an gift from God!
