There is family by blood and family by choice. We may not be relatives, but this is definitely part of my family. I only wish we were closer so that we could raise our babies alongside each other on a regular basis. I was so happy to be able to take their portraits on my latest trip to Texas. The youngest of the boys also happened to be my first newborn to photograph as well. There isn’t enough I could say about the treasure I have in this friendship.
